Window Tinting
Window tinting is one of the smartest upgrades you can make on a Las Vegas vehicle. Quality tint helps reduce cabin temperatures during extreme heat, blocks harmful UV rays to protect your skin and interior, cuts glare, and adds privacy.
Over time, constant exposure to heat and UV rays leads to fading, cracking, and interior wear. High-quality tint can make a noticeable difference in protecting your vehicle and improving comfort.
Why Tint Matters More in Las Vegas
- Southern Nevada sees intense sun exposure year-round, increasing UV impact on both drivers and vehicle interiors
- Interior temperatures in parked cars can exceed 140°F in summer; quality tint helps reduce heat buildup
- Prolonged exposure to heat and UV rays is a major cause of dashboard cracking and interior fading
- Low winter sun driving east or west on the 215 can create heavy glare that tint helps reduce
Different Types of Window Tint
Ceramic tint
Ceramic tint offers the best heat rejection and highest UV protection with no interference with cell signal, GPS, or radio. It costs more but lasts longer and performs best in extreme heat.
Carbon tint
Carbon tint is a solid middle-tier option with better heat rejection than dyed film and good durability without signal interference.
Dyed tint
Dyed tint is a budget-friendly option that provides good privacy and glare reduction. It offers less heat rejection than ceramic and works well for shorter-term ownership or vehicles that aren’t parked in the sun regularly.
Choosing Your Tint Shade
50% VLT
Very light. Focuses on heat and UV protection with minimal visible darkening. Legal on front side windows.
35% VLT
Medium shade. This is the legal limit for front side windows in Nevada and a popular balance of visibility and protection.
20% VLT
Darker appearance with added privacy. Legal only on rear side windows and the rear window.
5% VLT (limo)
Nearly black. Maximum privacy. Legal only on rear side windows and the rear window. Can reduce visibility at night.

Vinyl Wraps
A wrap does two things most Las Vegas drivers don’t think about: it changes your color without committing to paint, and it shields the factory paint underneath from desert sun, rock chips, and daily wear.
Different Types of Wraps
- Full color change wraps: Total vehicle transformation, new color, new finish, completely reversible.
- Partial wraps: Roof, hood, mirrors, trim, or accent panels for a refreshed look without a full wrap.
- Chrome deletes: Blacked-out chrome trim, window surrounds, door handles, or badges for a cleaner modern look.
- Custom designs and branding: Custom graphics, logos, and branded designs for personal vehicles or fleet applications.
Wraps also provide a layer of protection for your original paint, helping to shield it from scratches, rock chips, and sun exposure.

Paint Protection Film (PPF)
PPF is a clear, durable film that shields your factory paint from rock chips, scratches, scuffs, and UV damage. Installed correctly it blends right into your finish and adds years to how your paint looks.
Where PPF Gets Installed
- Full front end: Hood, front bumper, front fenders, and mirrors. These are the highest-impact areas where rock chips and road debris occur most often.
- Full vehicle: Every painted panel for maximum protection.
- Partial coverage: Bumper only, hood only, or any combination based on what you want protected.
Self-Healing Technology
Modern PPF uses a self-healing clear coat made from advanced polyurethane materials. When exposed to heat from sunlight or warm water, the surface softens and reflows, allowing light scratches and swirl marks to disappear.
This helps maintain a clean, glossy finish and reduces the appearance of everyday wear over time.
Tint vs Wrap vs PPF — Which Solves Your Problem?
If you’re not sure which service is right for you, here’s a simple way to think about it. Window tinting goes on the glass and is the best option if you want to cool down your interior, block UV rays, and reduce glare. A vinyl wrap goes on the body panels and is the way to go if you want to change your vehicle’s color or finish without committing to a full paint job. It protects the factory paint underneath and is completely reversible. Paint protection film is a clear, durable film that shields your paint from rock chips, scratches, and UV damage in high-impact areas. It blends right into your finish and is nearly invisible.
One thing worth knowing is that wraps and PPF solve different problems. Wraps change how your vehicle looks, PPF protects how it stays, and a lot of customers end up doing both. Still not sure? Call 702.476.9191 and let us know what you’re after.
